
Dr. Kourosh Sabri, MB.ChB, FRCOphth
Associate Professor / Division of Ophthalmology / Dept. of Surgery
Dr. Kourosh Sabri is a fellowship trained Paediatric Ophthalmologist and adult Strabismologist. He is the principal investigator for several nationally and provincially funded prospective research studies. He is passionate about research and his aim is to develop McMaster Paediatric Eye Research Group into an internationally acclaimed research body.

Dr. Forough Farrokhyar, MB.ChB, FRCOphth
Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics / Director of OSRS at McMaster
Dr. Farrokhyar is a clinical epidemiologist, research methodologist and biostatistician with a specific interest in clinical research. Her areas of interests mainly include the design of comparative studies including randomized controlled trials, cohort and case-control studies, the design of registries and surveys, systematic reviews and meta-analysis. She also has research interests in the application of statistical modelling in non-randomized designs to adjust for prognostic differences, evaluations of outcomes, assessment of short-term and long-term outcomes of chronic conditions, and examination of relationships between risk factors and outcomes.
Natalie Fleming, MSW RSW
Administrative Assistant
Natalie Fleming has a strong research background, having completed her Masters of Social Work at York University with a focus in research. She previously worked at St. Michael’s Hospital as a Research Coordinator.
She is excited to be a part of the McPERG team as she is passionate about health research that has practical applications.

VOLUNTEERS
There are many undergraduate and postgraduate students who help as volunteers on our projects. The opportunity offers them valuable experience and exposure in health care research.
